The Study Team of Ancient Greek Dance Theatre of the Dora Stratou Theater in collaboration with the research and artistic Team “Drios Topoi” (Places of the Oak) of the Philosophy School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens presents the theatrical dance performance “Ancient Greek Dance Theatre – The timelessness of the Greek Spirit and Dance”
The composition, direction and music editing belongs to Anna Lazou, Lecturer of Philosophy in the University of Athens.
The performance is consisted of the following parts:
- Hippocrates’ Oath
- Hymn to Artemis
- Solo of the Satyr
- Mainades – Dionyssiasm
Then, the evening included Greek feast with traditional music and dance, wine and diner with ancient flavors. The whole evening unfolded in the stunning location of the cultural center “Ancient House – the Garden of Hippocrates”, an ideal natural setting of the dance theater performance and for the rest of the evening.
